Learn to make quick and easy braided borders with no inset seams, using fabric scraps and the Braid Charm template from M&L Designs. Quilts will be shown. Cutting and piecing methods will be demonstrated.Students will finish a table topper or wall hanging in class.

KIT FEE:$10 (in addition to class fee) Kit includes Braid Charm template and pattern. TOOLS NEEDED Braid Charm Template from M&L Designs. Rotary cutter and mat (a revolving mat is helpful) Ruler at least 6 inches wide (like Omnigrid) Fabric (see requirements below) Thread Sewing machine Basic sewing supplies PROVIDED IN CLASS Pattern with cutting and piecing instructions. Appliqué shapes for embellishment. Iron and ironing board. FABRIC REQUIREMENTS Light color 1/2 yd. Medium color 1/2 yd. Dark color 1/2 yd.
